Senior Controller

Our client is a Multinational company serving the automotive industries, for one of its subsidiaries based in Italy is looking for a Senior Controller

Reporting to the Finance Manager and managing a small team, he/she primary duties and responsibilities will be:

• Prepare periodical reports  analyzing the performances of each Business Unit;
• Provide explanations to variances according operational and financial KPIs;
• Complement financial data with meaningful presentations in order to highlight performance drivers;
• Coordinate and manage the following activities: monthly closing process, monthly consolidation, annual planning, periodical forecasts and business reviews;
• Prepare, maintain, and monitor complete operating budget, forecast and monthly closing;
• Lead the development of the appropriate tools for analysis of  the material cost variances;
• Identify omission, redundancies and areas of improvement;
• Highlight opportunities to increase revenues, decreases costs and optimize working capital needs.

To perform this job successfully, candidates must have a University degree in Finance or Business Administration, at least 5 years of working experience in controlling roles with exposure to planning, monitoring and variance analysis, better if in a manufacturing Multi-National Company. Strong analytical financial, organizational and problem solving skills, team player, excellent Microsoft Office skills, and good knowledge of English language complete the profile.
